I'm 26, from the UK, following Formula One since a young age with my father. Now looking to work for a Formula One team and become a great all around engineer. Currently working for an aerospace company however I graduated in the automotive design related field however looking to develop my technical side more addtion to my management msc i am currently competing. Passionate about engineering and determined to develop my career into a successful one.

My favourite driver has to be Nigel Mansell as I remember whilst watching as a kid me and my dad would be rooting for him constantly. Generally I love to follow underdogs, as MS came back this season I was more or less rooting for him this season. As well as Petrov who for some reason I think he will turn into a potential world champion, I love Mclaren's passion for the sport and Ferrari's determination to all ways be the best.

I would love to be invovled for a team that is known to be a backmarker, and love to see them develop to the top of the mountain - not like red bull whom I feel more or less where always a mid field team.

Gutted Webby didn't take the title this season. Would love to see Vettel and Hamilton at Ferrari fighting it out to be No.1. Love the singapore raise, I could not so enough love for that event.

Hi all, I'm Cedric. I'm from Canada. I've been watching F1 from 1994 to now, except from 2001 and 2004. I was a big fan of Williams until 2006, then I switched to BMW Sauber. I switched again mid-2009 to Red Bull.

I won VIP tickets for the 2008 Canadian Grand-Prix. I witnessed my team's (at the time) only win and double. Greatest day of my life I must say.

Hi; I'm from Newfoundland, Canada, and I've been an F1 fan since the mid nineties, and an Indy fan until the split. Mclaren is my team, and Hamilton is my driver, at least since Villeneuve left.

I've been lurking here for a couple of years actually, but have decided to register and join in on some of the discussions.

Cheers

Hi,

I'm 19. I'm French so I'm sorry if my English isn't perfect. Anyway, I hope I will learn a lot here on technical aspects of Formula 1 !

I support Kubica, Hamilton and Lotus Renault GP.

Hi there.

Jasper (21) from Belgium. Studying at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, have been following F1 since the 2000 season. I have always been interested in the technical side of the sport but never really dove deep into the matter so pardon me if you see me asking questions that are a bit below the average level of this forum. ;) I'm here mainly because I'd like to learn some more about those cars.

I have been involved with FSAE/Formula Student in the past 3 years so I am familiar with the basic concepts of racecar design. But unfortunately FS cars are in no way comparable to F1 cars (in our team's case: a quarter of the weight, not even a tenth of the power and a third of the top speed, and driving around completely different tracks). So being in Formula Student doesn't really teach you anything on "real" reacecars... :)

If anyone is interested, from the moment I started watching F1 I was hooked by Mika Häkkinen and I have remained a McLaren fan ever since. But in the last few years my interest has shifted more and more towards the sport in general rather than just one team. So yes I still prefer McLaren but I'm not a diehard.

See you around!

Jasper

Hi everyone, I'm Tufty. I post on a fair number of forums so I've probably seen some of you elsewhere. I'm a BIG Williams fan, bordering on obsession... but other than that I am totally objective :D

I work for the Formula One Fans Association as the UK Rep, so my life does literally revolve around F1!!

Anyway, nice to meet you all, I'm really glad to be here and I look forward to many good discussions with you all :)

Greetings! Been lurking here for a while but finally decided to join. I'm an Aeronatuical Engineering student at Glasgow University, second year, intend to join Formula Student next year but hopefully in suspension as it is something I've truly fallen in love with. I've been watching F1 since I were a lad (~93 onwards). I like to think I have a fair bit of knowledge but the amount of clearly very gifted people on here made me think I could learn something ;) Hope you don't mind.

Apart from motorsport I'm a guitarist in a metal band and an active motorsports 'photographer'. I put in quotes because I'm rubbish. You can see some of my stuff here:
