Hi there guys and gals, Steve here. Avid fan of F1 and Vettel in particular. Hope to have some great debates and interaction with everybody here. Based in Cape Town South Africa and feel hard done by that we don't have an F1 venue locally look forward to 'meeting' you all...or some of you at least!

Hi there,
My name is Maria, i been reading this great forum and learning a lot of technical information. Im amazed for all the knowledge that there is in this pages; so after months of discovering this site i decided to join with a little bit of blush
for my newbie condition and my light F1 background 
My Formula 1 worship comes from my dad, and i recall my first F1 season back to 1992. Im from Argentina, and im quite sure that i didnt attend many Grand Prix as most of you.
Thats all for now, looking foward to be part of this forum

I am involved in the South African National Formula Vee. in 2010 our team finished first in the team championship and I finished 4th
I am padantic about development work, this year has been shocking for us - mainly as a result of the team desolving and personal issues as well as a gain in wheight of +- 15kg's - not great:(

I am involved in the South African National Formula Vee. in 2010 our team finished first in the team championship and I finished 4th
I am padantic about development work, this year has been shocking for us - mainly as a result of the team desolving and personal issues as well as a gain in wheight of +- 15kg's - not great:(

Many thanks for the nice comments and useful links. One can never have too many good contacts.
Muulka - I'd love to take the car to NI at some point, but where would one drive it? Re seat, then we need to have a couple moulded for our use. I do have a proper carbon seat which was either JB's or RB's, but its way too narrow and no use to us.
RH1300S - I'm really sorry to have missed you at Castle Combe, I've never actually met another F1 tech forum user! I did however admire your Alpine, which looked to be busy all the time. We brought the Honda along to Castle Combe for the kids to see, and gave rides in the snakeskin clad STR-10 Viper all day. Very nice day out and great to be able to support the Teenage Cancer Trust.

ive learn some very interesting stuff from just browesing as a guest so i thought id bite the bullet and sign up.
Im Dean im from england
and im 20
im a carpenter/joiner
Been watching f1 on and off since 2000. recently got back into it properly but seems the beeb have ruined that
Anywho ive been enjoying watching mclaren and farrai at the moment seeing them progress and catch up to redbull, hopefully should be an interesting 2nd half of the season.
