i have a question, i ordered the book of racedriving of senna, somebody knows if it is a good one ?

Well I have that book....it doesn't teach anything tech about setups....it's basicly a introduction book on driving....it has a simple training program...it teaches the trajectories....and talks about the flags....and talks about how the race weekend goes around....I believe that Carol Smith's book "Driving to Win" might be a little better (though I've never read it)....Carol has a more engineering approach on driving.

hi again, does anybody knows a good site or something else about the suspension. i mean the working of it, for example if u take soft springs in front u have more front end grip and that gives u more oversteer.

Seems that Carol Smith has a book called Tune to win.....which is very good on setups.

i read book of senna and it is very interesting

That's sort of correct, at least from my point of view. I just think that when the suspension is too stiff, the car (wheels) will bounce off the ground, as if no spring/shock setup is there. Therefore, there would be little (or no) steering input available.

Hopefully we'll see you in an F1 test soon

i hope to but the test is in worldseries by renault (now it is still the worldseries by nissan)

For a racecar driver the Coroll Smith Drive to win is really worth soaking up ,highly recommended.It has a what happens if I put this or that to the car and a what is the cause of this and that happening with the car chapter so great help for basic setup direction.
If you are going in deeper with kPIs and tyre models Millikens book is the one to have I doubt this is of use for the randomly interested and I also doubt if a driver needs to know how to engeneer the car.He has to relay his feelings and impressions in a useful manner and work on his finesse
he has to have a very clear view of what is needed from the car to go faster,or in other words what is the reason why you cannot go any faster around the circuit.
Very Good books are those from Paul Haney about PacWest and the Yellow one (forgot the titles)

no sorry i didnt say anything but i had the worsed test ever in my life. such a team. i was with new tyres and the second time on the track of paul ricard and second time in a formula nissan V6 2 seconds slower than before. it was awful. I am really sad. the car didnt have enough grip (lots too less grip)

but that is life. it is like that
