I don't know what you are on but in what universe can people afford to buy a GT3 car.
I'm not on anything and my feet are firmly planted in this universe.
Have you not noticed that most of the GT3 field is privateers?
Ps That GT3 Porsche sounds cheap to me!
They are old rich people or ex racers with money to spare who want to get a thrill. Did you also not see how slow those privateers are. That rich privateer in the bmw GT4 that mostert hit was doddling about on the racing line at such a slow speed that he should have been pulled into the pits for being too slow. If you want a true representation of what group a and the old era used to be you should be looking at the 6 hour production car race that actually has normal productions cars with only a roll cage added.

Yesterday's 12 hour was a classic 'race-right-down-to-the-line' deal, with Porsche finally adding the
Bathurst 12 hour title to its trophy chest, a finely calculated victory by the Bamber team.
Having so many marques all in contention for the win, & so much 'open' ( fewer 'safety car' restarts)
racing - was a real treat for motorsports fans, along with the many classes running on the 'natural' track.

As well as Japan, the "proper" Bathurst this weekend on THE best track in the world (he said without a hint of bias), Mount Panorama, for the Australian V8 Supercars series, 1000 kilometres.
A very professional series now.
Fox sports 503 or Kayo streaming.
FP1 today damp track 2:05.3 for Shane van Gisbergen who by the way skipped across the Tasman for the NZ round of the WRC last weekend where he got 9th outright!
Never ever a boring race.
Session red flagged with Will Davison (grandson of Lex Davison who won the Australian Grand Prix four times) on top with a 2:04.3

This race was shockingly bad. Only German manufacturers. Where the hell are McLaren, Nissan, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Bentley, Lexus and Honda.
