Well that was worth staying up all night for, good wheel to wheel action throughout the race,
another 1-2 for Porsche and it's now 4 in a row for the #17, their on a hot streak that's for sure
Poor old #18 seems to be getting the short end of the stick in the last few races but always seems to recover
It's been a long time since I'v seen Porsche taking the manufacturers title, so it will be nice to see them with #'s 1,2,3 on the cars at Le Mans next year
As for the drivers title, the #17 has a 12 point advantage over Audi's #7 going in to the last race in Bahrain

Numbers in WEC are according to teams or drivers title?

The 17 is a strong favorite anyways, even a 3rd place guarantees the title, without reliability issues they got it.

Car #'s 1,2 and 3 (if used) are given to the previous years manufacturers champion.
example (2013) Audi won the manufacturers title, there for in 2014 they use #'s 1,2. and #3 for a 3rd car at Spa 6H, Le Mans 24H.
Toyota won the title in 2014 so they got #'s 1,2 for 2015, and Audi went back to using #'s 7,8 and #9 (3rd car) for Spa 6H and Le Mans 24h
Car # 7,8,9 seem to end up with the 2nd place team
Car numbers 1 to 49 are for LMP1 and LMP2 and numbers 50 and up are for GTE Pro and GTE Am.

Pole for car 17 with sister car at it's side, it's looking good for them.

Broken throttle linkage for the #17 is what I heard, I did trade the first hour of the race for an extra hour of sleep :D

According to Porsche's twitter it was the throttle actuator.

Audi 8 in trouble now, 17 in fifth.

Porsche still needs the 18 to win, i think...
