I couldn't resist. I will refrain from it.

Anyway, whenever I hear "fondue" I always think of Fondmetal to this day.

I'll update the first post. Will also post this at the Marussia and Sauber pages.
Ratio hunter  Yes yes i know what you doing. :D Bv. i cant wait! So just Merc wait a hell long... They must be pretty conviced that they design really step out of rest of field. Maybe there is more out of box thinking like we maybe imagine... I just play with my thougts... Continue discussion... what you guys thinks, will they reall put MGUH between high thermal stress areas bewind radial turbines or not? Is something really on?

And also i know that all manufactures want to hide or hold informations about their technology for them selves long as possibble. Again i just play with my thougts (i m bored you now, wothout racing or testing you got racing-sickness :D )...

Is it fair to say that what we'll see from Ferrari today will be more representative of the real engine that what the others have so far shown?

I don't think that - showing it so far in advance - the merc or Renault 'show' v6s were likely to be that close to the finished product, partly for fear of others copying. My understanding was that Ferrari waited til now so they could show something real and know it was too late to be copied.

Interested to hear thoughts

I think the Renault engine in the press release was pretty close to actual.

If the engine in the Renault video is the final engine. We dont know when that video was shot. Just think Renault wanted some attention before Ferrari's launch :)

Yeah, I think that "leak" was an attention grabber.

There are rumors they have integrated the plugs in the individual valves, making the engine a quad spark, or quattro scintilla.

If this is true, Don's team will have a jump on all else from the word go!

that is easy, the rules say only one spark plug per cylinder ..

How about one injector integrated in each valve then, would that be legal?

no, only one injector per cylinder and it must be from a list of FIA approved parts
