Does this mean if someone has an opinion that I don't agree with or may find offensive, I can ban them from life?

Bans are due to repeated cycles of mod interventions, several temp bans and ongoing dialogue. Our hard limits are personal abuse or aggression towards other members, especially repeated aggression via PMs amounting to vendettas.
It's saying enough is enough after multiple cycles. It's the realisation that if someone is repeatedly saying that they don't like this place then perhaps we'd better call it a day and move on.
