Regarding camera placement, I'm pretty sure it was on Hamilton's car this last race. Actually, we got plenty of shots from there. It's located on the left hand side of the airbox. By the way, don't regulations stipulate that each car has to carry a minimum number of cameras? I get the feeling it was four of them, but I'm not sure.

Regards,

Miguel

PS: Does anybody else want a camera in the helmet? I find current cameras far too high for my liking, and you don't appreciate blind apex corners.
Yes. I'd love to see cameras in the helmet -- they'd let us appreciate bumps and the speed far better. Oh, and the line-of-sight the drivers have.

This has some good helmet-mounted camera views. I'd love to see these cameras on all the drivers--the view is so much different than the roll-hoop cameras and the sound is amazing. :D

If I remember correctly, during the British GP Hamilton had his on one side of the engine cover (left side as you say) and Kovalainen had his on the other side.

Mclaren came to Hockenheim with the shark-fin engine cover.

Mclaren seem to be using much bigger sidepod openings for the Hockenheim test then what they had last weekend.

Also i pray to god that they do not use that engine cover.

I can imagine the next move will be connecting those ugly wings round to the endplates of the front wing.

Mclaren's dumbo wings are not that good to look at, but at least they are being more playful with their car development now than before 8)
