And you cannot mention the C291 without mentioning it's hairy chested big brother...the C11 and it's twin turbo V8.
Which itself is actually lifted from your "everyday" W124 Merc 500E.
If you care for the sound, here it is.

As I'm overindulging here, I may as well as a personal favourite of mine.
The American's say there's no replacement for displacement....how wrong they where. Ladies and Gentleman, I present the Honda F20C inline 4.
240bhp from 2 litres...standard. A bit of mild tinkering with the CPU, air intake and exhaust will see 260/270.
Yea it has no torque, but it is sublime from 5k rpm through t its 9.2k red line.
Now if only Honda made a 4litre of these bad boys....
Here once again is the sound if you car for such things.

Some old school large engineering towards the bottom of the link below,

Im not sure why, but Im going to drop these in here too 'just because' - mainly as I may never think of them again, and also the fact that hopefully they may see the light of day for another while.
The first is a joy to watch - while its a bit acted here and there, I have a lot of respect for 'Ted', mainly because he worked in all the areas before getting to where is now(was). He earned that coat.

@GitanesBlondes; Come to think of it, I believe Senna was correct when he said they built him a Ferrari, don't you agree?

I couldn't agree more!
No wonder Prost was so mad in '91. Having to look at the McLaren every race, only tp realize that it was what the Ferrari should have been!
Dear god that Honda V12 was special. There were 3 different versions of it built for that season...I'll have to look up the information I have in one of my books later about the RA121 engine and post it here for you guys. It showed up with only 695HP at Estoril in the winter but that increased obviously.
What asshole would want to prevent V12 engines from being used still in F1?

What's the saying, if it looks right, it is right?
