Check out the new bits on the top of the cowl, ala RB5. They appear made in sections. As the weekend progresses I wonder if we see them stay on the car?

Are you sure they have both upshift and downshift on both sides of the paddle? Didnt McLAren use those extra paddles to move thru different engine maps while shifting the gears last year? could be a similar system.

Yep it soundas more logical.

Also i personnaly think that 1 is up/downshift, 2 clutch(it needs to be toggled by gear changing if im correct), much easier there, the lower paddles are harder to reach, 3 is engine mapping then.

I suspect to be that way ( the way it is shown on the image ) because i was observing ( via on board videos ) Button and Barrichello shifting down using the left hand's "middle" finger and shifting up using the right hand's "pointing" finger . I may be mistaken though but i think i also saw Button occasionally to use his left hand to shift up .

I read somwhere that (1) would be an upshift that is quick and violent for when the car is in a straight line and (2) would be for exiting a corner. It would be a slower and softer gearchange as to not upset the car.

From the BrawnGP page an interesting (?) comment:
"For the Turkish Grand Prix the front wing of your car was changed. How did this help to improve the aerodynamics and the performance of the car in general?"

Loic Bigois, Head of Aerodynamics:
"The new front wing that we introduced in Turkey was an improvement in overall downforce but it also has the added benefit of giving the car a much better balance between low speed and high speed corners."
It seems you can ask anything, someone please ask about what is the problem with the car! :D
