Are you sure about this? When I put it through Google translate it does say an updated intake system here, then says they will bring other updates to bring more performance as soon as their ready but not ETA on the updates for the big progress (so it sort of sounds like the intake may bring some performance improvement). It then mentions the engine vibrations have not yet been solved (& that their still upshifting above the normal/ideal range).
I have also used the translator google to Spanish, the update of the admission seems to agree, on the vibrations I have translated it into English and you are right, have not been solved and forced to change ahead of time.

Driveshaft... Seems like the vibrations of the rear end are really killing everything...
Obviously, their upshift strategy didn't help that much in a long-term perspective.
But it's clear: That's definitely not only Honda's problem. McLaren needs to react as fast as possible.

They both do, the chassis has potential, once they get the chassis and power unit sorted that car in Alonso's hands will be magic.

This drive shaft problem may be caused by engine sudden tork load during alo's re overtake affort to sainz.

Yes so Bahrain test ambitious, and Sochi. I still reckon it is Spain for the update....they have to solve it, test it, manufacture it. It might be an improvement before and even for Spain rather than a complete cure .

Can't they do it sooner? They need to be competitive.

Alonso's light didn't flash(did it?) so he still had some battery/MGUH power to the wheels, thats how it works right?
