Awesome, Gary and Matteo! Looking forward to seeing the car running on track!
Great news, Andre'. Now I need to win the last race to have my car featured on the magazine

A season without you winning a race would be a bit strange.
In case somebody overlooked:
The last race will be delayed one week.

Not as strange as a season without a 4th place by CAEdevice.
In 2016 LeMans has been my worst race, I hope to do better this year.

I imagine from a structural point of view this rear wing wouldn't cope too well, with a lack of strut bearing the load. Looks epic though!
Yes, it is an (extreme) high downforce airfoil coupled with the (extreme) low downforce pillars... but for a graphic AC model it could be acceptable (maybe you can increase the dimension of the pillars section, to have a more realistic geometry).
Maybe add some short connectors between the pontoons and the pillars.

Something a bit like this was my thought. Apologies for the render, not imported it ingame yet.

Yeah. Was thinking of what's sometimes found on the ends F1 RWs.

So i finally have some time to figure this all out...
I read the readme, i think i installed it the proper way but then: i use the webapplication to make myself a front wing, rear wing and floor. But in which map should i put them? Ive put them in 'special_bc' but seems thats not allowed...

Either high res surfaces or vehicle body
Special bc is for engine inlets and exhausts

That did work, thanks!
when i click 'build case' it says: warning: no front wheels detected and after that i click 'run case' nothing happens. When i click post-process case it says i need to run the case first?

Ah you need the cfd parts file from the challenge page. It should have wheels as separate stl files, as well as suspension etc
You'll need two extra folders in the case structure called frt_wheels and rr_wheels.
If I remember correctly wheels 1 and 2 are the fronts.
Suspensions can go in vehicle body
After you've done all this go to your parent case directory and delete everything except input_files
Create the case again

Thanks! no more errors now! Only when clicking 'run case' nothing happens and at post process case it gives me the error to first run the case

No problem
You need to run the case manually
Are you running Windows?
