As for open wheel 'beauty' - the McLaren Indy cars of the early `70s had a handsome, purposeful-angular stance..

Yeah, orange/blue traditional McLaren livery (IMO) looks good on the sinuous/organic shape (hideous 'monobrow' halo, apart)..

So very odd... I opened my Hemmings Motor News to find an article on serial #1 of this car. It went at auction at RM Sotherby's for a mere $22,550,000

For sure, there is a certain 'Froggy' quirky-look approach to styling, even that distorted Gandini inspired job..
But some do have a quite elegant style...
