A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.
I do not know Crucial_Xtreme if you noticed, but the picture above your post is, at the same time, link to the high resolution version.
It is much more convenient way of postig pictures as the page will not need to load such amount of data each time.
All diffusers this year seams very basic, but that's understandable with current rules. What I found interesting though, are those small turning vanes at the bottom of endplates. Until now, I believe, all teams opted for having them full-length or none.
That's a better picture, I like this team's approach. Regular, logical, small steps that can be ratified. They should be very successful one day.
That said, the mounting bracket is a little inelegant. Appears to be in the drivers line of sight. Perhaps this played a part in Bianchi's off yesterday.

The mounting bracket and strake in fact appear to be exactly the same as the one McLaren were using on day 2 – I would bet heavily this is one of the things they've got from the tech partnership.

I'm surprised to hear that Mclaren have used this bracket too. As early as the MP4 25 tests Mclaren had mounting points for the Pitot Arrays designed into their tubs.

The VJM05 certainly looks well put together. I believe this will be Force India's breakthrough year, and if aesthetics have any indication of performance, this car will be a race winner. It looks fantastic!
