Look how many thread are dominated by ongoing arguments without either side being willing to drop it and concede to agree to disagree...

Strad, there is a difference between 'owning' an opinion/stating it as such.. & holding/promulgating it - as fact..

Especially when the matter under contention.. is capable of appraisal on a technical validity/root cause analysis, level..

So ongoing 'ranting' reiterations.. of 'deluded' emotive-based opinion..

( yes, deluded - under the technical definition;
- viz: determinedly holding onto a fixed, false, belief - in the face of reasoned, validated evidence - to the contrary)..

..which are, by perseveration, seemingly predicated to serve no useful purpose.. this is surely.. tantamount to trolling..

& must inevitably draw increasing sanction, of one kind (member downvotes), or another (moderation intervention)..

It does seem to be a focus for contention, & for myself,
I'd be good with an 'N/A' - in place of a vote balance number..
