$8000 for what looks to be an empty block with some etched glass on it is outrageous.

This sort of furniture only works if your house is beautifully neat and tidy, otherwise it looks like junk. That etched glass is awful as well

Id rather just go to my closest junk yard buy an engine for 40 bucks and do it myself

I like the table(even the etched glass). Too bad its so eye-wateringly expensive.

Look how high the crankshaft was and how large a flywheel it took! It has more in common with an FPF than a modern engine.

Can find by quick Google search a whole Ford DFV display engine for 5000 GBP. Bit better value than just an empty casting that would otherwise be worth like 50 bucks in scrap.

its off a McLaren maybe that has more value to some people
