Ferrari F138

It is amazing how many parts must be in the Grundon bin just outside the back door of Maranello. It just seems as if they are in a bit of a panic and not thinking methodically.

Another small change to the front wing this weekend but it probably won't be raced...

Simone Resta, aerodynamic Ferrari calls them so. You think you know more than him?

Csponton....he meant how you spelt it. You spelt it forword, it is supposed to be forward.

It seems Ferrari have modified the outer part of the diffuser

I think it's good that they put all those details on. They need to try things to get to root of their correlation problem.

So new external parts seem to be new lower barge boards by the turning vanes. New outside sections of the diffuser. Looks like they cut the carbon fibre and replaced it with sections made of some sort of metal. Titanium maybe? What about the horizontal vortex generators by the mirrors? Have they added a 3rd one or was it always there?

Civility and decorum, please.
The user you are quoting is obviously Italian, check what he really means with "Soffiature". Hence, there's no need to laugh at someone's English skills. Let's stick with the interesting tech details and stay on topic.

Lovely detail of the flap adjuster:

No difference there... It's the same diffuser. They only apply something on the surface (Zircotec?)

To me it looks like they have rapid-prototyped new diffuser edges, cut the old ones off, glued the new ones on and blended the seam with some filler. Presumably they know it will be strong enough.

Looks like they run a titanium diffuser with a CF weave coating. Like McLaren did for a while in 2011.

This airflow conditioner at the bottom of the sidepod wing was already tested in Abu Dhabi.
