How so? In your opinion maybe. Forza 5 is a little light on content but its a musthave game.

I haven't played Forza myself, but I've heard that the physics is way to forgiving and nowhere close to reality.

Forza 3 has good physics, that's the only one I've played. I was ace at gt3 and gp3 by Geoff crammond, but the physics always caught me out on forza 3. It was really good imo

I only play hardcore PC sims. My favorite is rFactor 2, though I occasionally go back to Richard Burns Rally.

The graphics aren't up to much, and the physics is a bit dodgy, but Bosch LapSim is about the only racing sim that has held my interest.

Well it seems you heard wrong. The physics are quite close to real life. Pc sims still have the edge on it but the guys from InsideSimRacing say Fm5 is not far behind the big Pc sims atm.

Forza has:
360 Hertz physics system
Has worked with Pirelli, Calspan, Audio and now Mclaren for the physics, tyre and suspension simulation.
Real life telemetry for tyre slip, temperatures, G-forces, suspension and a great damage simulation.

ISR Review. These guys know sims.

I don't know what to make out of your statement. All you have done is to recite marketing talk. You should try rFactor2. The graphics may not be the best but all that matters to me is the physics simulation. The tyre model alone is a FE simulation on it's own. You also could try iRacing. It's also a great sim.

GPL was so good I learnt driving with that game, and also learnt a lot about the setup of a car. It was impressive the feedback you got from any change in the springs, suspension, differential both for entering and exiting the corners, antiroll bars....

F1 games were more worried about graphics, but GPL was a true racing simulator

I remember trying to play online, and it was funny, cars did disappear from time to time



But Clark was too good, I could never beat him

Gran Turismo 6
In my opinion the best feeling driving game on console especially with the G27 steering wheel.
Also looks incredible for a 7th gen game...
