Because they're using last years overalls.

Looks better than expected. They really made some gains with the sidepods and at the rear. I hope the balance is much improved over last year's mess.

Guess the pitcrew will be using last years overalls so they just kept the drivers with graphite too

Colour scheme is snazzy. The nose is OK.. could have been worse.

I guess you mean performance wise because, aesthetically, C34's nose is awful. Very very ugly, really!

Don't know why two people downvoted this, I guess were Ericsson and/or Nasr's fanboys.

I would add it also has the potential of being the slowest.

The colour tones are very badly chosen and makes the livery ugly, to me. Driver line-up wise, there is no dispute to me. This is easily the worst and the closest to them are the Lotus boys and that's only because they crash a lot(well, Grosjean not so much now). In terms of out right speed, imho Sauber drivers are a far cry from Maldonado and Romain.

Hope I wasn't too OT here.

That post was unfounded and wrong and it has also nothing to do in this technical thread.
Obviously he doesnt know Nasr but judges him anyway.
And you dont need to be a Nasr fanboy to defend him and recognise he's a promising driver, he's one of the best youngs. And You can't compare him with Ericcson.
Sorry for the OT.
Edit: Grosjean? wtf, your post was as dumb as the other one.

It looks like a simple gloss blue, which (to me) looks cheaply done. If it turns out to be a nice metallic, or even pearlescent, blue then it may look better on TV. They'll certainly stand out, that's for sure!!
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Why people are bothered about the colour

It is the same as ligier f1 1994 with yellow on side rather than white

All that is missing are the elf sickers

This is the official 2015 Sauber F1 car topic. Any discussion about the technical aspects of the car belong here.

Some ground rules:
-Discussion about the car ONLY. Talk about drivers or engineers belongs in the team thread.
-Discussion about sponsors, partnes and livery also belong in the team thread. However, if a technical partner delivers a product that directly goes into the car, then that is allowed here as long it's solely about the car. For instance Shell developing a new lubricant.
-Comparing laptimes belongs in the respective race or test thread.
-Speculation is NOT allowed. Discussion is limited purely to "what you can touch and see", about the psysical parts on the car.
-Moderators can split topics when they see fit.

Any posts failing these simple guidelines will be removed! Repeating offenders will receive action.

I actually like the simple livery.
Hopefully they'll do a bit better than last year.
