I'm suspicious of any data which goes to 0.1% accuracy with its significant digits...

Can I borrow that Crystal ball? I need to win the lottery...
And btw. why was McLaren so slow in the Jerez test then when their PU was #2 and that close to Merc?

Because they were running with 50% of the maximum power available.

So did the source work out that Honda had 414.5 BHP and then double it? How can somebody know the peak power when they've never ran at peak power.

Oh, come on...! No one has disclosed the power of their PU. And no one would.

I doubt he based his figures based on performances at Jerez.

The Honda one for example seems to be based on having the figure for the 2014 Merc and that Honda matched that figure. I'm not saying these predictions are accurate I'm rather sceptical myself.

Where does the 50% figure come from ?

Honda were what......... 7 seconds off the pace, and only running on half power, I don't thing so

Scroll down to the McLaren bit, paragraph 11. Its not the fully developed engine either, they'll be bringing a new, more developed engine for Barcelona.

Again you cannot give much credit to an article that starts
McLaren wants to brighten Fernando Alonso, very nervous to see his MP4-30 distant "light years" from Ferrari SF15-T, the car that Spanish rejoiced, preferring to cut the contract with the team of the Horse at the end of 2014.
