Hello everybody,
my name is George, Im located in Europe.
I have allready 2 Hayabusa engines avaliable for me and
I would like to find a way to match them together in order to build a V8.
Can you suggest me somebody who has the plans of the common drive of this concept?
Or somebody who could build this part....
but I prefer to have the plans because someone of my family have a small CNC factory and
it would be easy for me to make it.....

There is a company that does this... I forgot the name but they have videos all over the net.
They actually make a new crank case for it and a new crank shaft of course.

and afair they have patent on how to have cam drive on both ends on the engine so they can use the same
standard head on both banks, appently that isn't so simple

The donor Suzuki 4 banger is very strong and good for 650 hp with a large turbo.

I'm sure I've already posted on a topic about this. Radical do one, there's the Hartley H1V8 and the TKD unit. You won't find plans as the companies make money from the time spent developing the units.

Why don't you just buy an engine from one of the aforementioned engine builders? It'll be lots cheaper than designing and building your own.

it's very expencive and besides that I don't wonna build the whole engine....
just the commun drive....

It will be way more expensive if you do it yourself. Particularly if you haven't done something like this before.

Is the OP thinking about the Z-cars Westfield? In this case the car had two separate motorcycle engines which connected to what they refer to as a "Transfer Box" which I presume is just two pinion gears driving one bull gear... the engineering would be "relatively" easy compared to making your own crankcase..... But its not a V8...

I just had a look on Z-cars' website and they no longer list the transfer box, but back in 2004 it was £2500.... (obviously you need to add your engines, and the rest of the car, on to that).

Or there is the Force SR8 hillclimb car which used two motorbike engines mounted the other way around...



You'd have to do some googling to find out more details on that car... All I know is that car was bloody fast when I last saw it....

There's lots of grass track companies that do dial bike engine transfer boxes. Like you say, it's not a V8. Making one crankcase will be more expensive than buying one engine...

reviving the twin-engined 4wd Mini concept might have merit ??? (helped by modern computer control/electronics)
