Ferrari 667 Speculation Thread

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Hello, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post!

I've found a lot of news on the upcoming Ferrari 667 on this page:

http://www.f1analisitecnica.com/2015/12 ... mgu-k.html

Almost always they have reliable informations directly from Ferrari.

In other articles they talk about the new front suspension (a push rod one) and about the new short nose (ToroRosso-like).

Monday?
If I remember correctly, the car presentation is the 19th February. This may be a more humble version of the skiing get-together they (Ferrari/Ducati et al.) held at Madonna di Campiglio up until 2014.

Looks to me like some social media event. I would guess a daily countdown actually.
The countdown on Ferrari's site runs out monday the 18th. From there it's 35 days left until pre-season testing begins. Thats exactly the number of squares in the 2nd picture. So maybe daily video interviews with Ferrari people? Or a daily release of preview pictures showing details of the car? One can only speculate ..

Let's hope for Seb and Kimi's sake that they've put as much effort into the actual car...

Does anyone know if there was a change in allowed injector pressure for next year? I thought that Merc and Ferrari were allready at the max allowed this year (and I think, with the emphasis on think, it was way lower than 500 bar), so i went to check the tech reg, and it says (for 2016):

5.10.1
The pressure of the fuel supplied to the injectors may not exceed 500bar. Only approved parts may be used and the list of parts approved by the FIA, and the approval procedure, may be found in the Appendix to the Technical Regulations.

I do believe Nugnes isn't speaking about injector pressure, but pressure inside the chamber.

Both.

Some interesting stuff in these articles. Not all guaranteed to be accurate of course but interesting nonetheless.

Thanks for posting.
