Favorite F1 cars.

Sorry to be repetitive but I noticed an article in autosport about their favorite F1 cars and was dissapointed with their choices.
Why doesn't everyone put up their top five?
Also check the brilliant info under history (left of the screen)

as a gpl player, i love every 67' car.Ferrari 312 wasn't as competitive as lotus 49 but is so beautifull

'67 Lotus 49. No other car represents to me what F1 is all about.
'67 Ferrari 512. Totally beautiful, and the sound, ohhh, the shreiking song of that glorious V-12.
John Player Special Lotus 72D. An incredibly beautiful and competent race car all by itself, but graced with what is still the greatest paint scheme in all racing.
'98 McLaren MP-4. Graced with two of the greatest drivers, Prost and Senna, no car has dominated the field in a sinlge season like the MP-4. Elegantly simple and brutally efficient, a true benchmark in engineering.
'97 Williams FW 19 and Ferrari 312 T3 and T4. Tied for 5th, and driven by Jacques and Gilles respectively. I was never so excited, cheered so loudly, or enjoyed myself so much as when those two cars were on track. Sentimental favorites.

major aeroflaw in the front end, but visually striking (to me) and capable of miracles in the hands of a master.
Tyrell 019
Last truly competitive and innovative car from Tyrell. Despite my initial dislike for raised noses, Jean Alesi put in some great performances and gave Ken Tyrell reason to smile.
Sauber C12
On first glance, I thought this sinister looking machine had the potential to shake up the grid order (Ilmor engine, active suspension, solid driver line-up). Alas, this was not to be.
Lotus 79
Revolutionary in every sense of the word.
Looked like it was going fast even when standing still.

Edit: I seem to have a difficult time counting 'till 5...

Lotus 72 - Like every schoolboy's dream, fat tyres, wings great paint job
Williams FW11B - Brute force
Brabham BT55 - Not Gordon Murray's best (by a long shot), but shows the artist in the man
Does an Alfa P3 count as an F1 car?? Bit too early for that - lovely all the same

BRABHAM BT54, love all the G.Murray Brabham cars and especially this one, maybe because I saw it winning French GP when I was a kid. I hope to see it again one day (BMW owns a car) but like most of the Brabhams of this era, Bernie don't show them
