Does anyone know of any good Formula 1 books? Anything like history, or driver bio's., or books about technology? I only have a few, and while they are ok, I'm sure that they're better ones out there. Anyone have a favorite they could suggest? As long as its not a fiction book...never really cared for them.

My most recent F1 book purchase: Deadly Obsessions, Life and Death in Formula 1 by Phil Shirley. I havn't gotten far enough into it to tell if its any good. So far its ok though.

Post em if you got em...

Brundle: Working the wheel (OK, all about the circuits.)

Zanardi: My Story (Brilliant book. Well worth reading)

D.C.: Davids Diary (not that great, about his '98 season)

Proffesor Sid Watkins: Triumph and Tragedy (A fantastic read from the FIA doc)

'1000bhp Grand Prix Cars'

Any Piola tech books

'Jack Brabham Story'

What's the Ferrari F2000 car book called by Peter Wright?

I've purchased lots of biographies from 2nd hand book stores but they don't interest me as much as F1 tech :)

Anything by Steve Matchett, especially "The Chariot Makers: Assembling the perfect F1 car." I highly recommend that!

I almost picked that one up two days ago but did not have enough cash on me at the time.

Manchild, I'm sorry I should have searched first.

No need for appologies at all. It wasn't aimed against you or anybody else. Since I remebered that topic I thought that it is more handy to put link to that page than to copy and paste all books and links mentioned there
