I wonder if Red Bull's and Renault's idleness is due to engine problems.

Mercedes running w/o the T bar. Thinking the writing is on the wall for these, going very soon.

Merc are almost whole day long on track so I think they don't try anything new just testing reliability of the car

According to Marca, McLaren has completed 81 laps on day2, improving their (Vandorne) qualy lap by two tenths, despite using soft tires! :o :D

I´ve not followed the tests and to me Marca is far from a reliable source as they´re gutter (that´s the reason I didn´t even mention their headline  ), so if any of you have any further info, we McLaren fans are eager to get some positive news! :D

They must have test some parts, but basically the tyre wear. That was what the test was to them, exploiting new year tyres.

They were trying lots of things regarding set up and getting the tyres working better in the race. They took full advantage with 240 laps.

Does anyone know how many laps Vandoorne had done at the end, before setting his fastest lap?
Is there anywhere where we can get detailed run information?

The weird thing is that Bullier says "we have no idea why we have had such a good day" while Honda implies that they may have solved the problems with their MUGH. What a coordinated team...
