I don't think such a thing exists for testing. Maybe amus will come up with something after a few days.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

There it is..

I hope it isn´t the same issue as last week where a Renault engine failed...

Autosport.com: "Bad news for McLaren. Honda has found an oil systems issue, which requires a full investigation. The team plans to run again today, but "due to the difficult access location, it will take several hours to resolve".

Cant they just change the engine in a couple of hours?

They probably could, but if it is a fundamental issue, than the new engine wouldn't do much good either. So it's best to investigate it fully I think. This is what testing is for.

Yeah, but then the new engine has the same problem and they lose the whole day.

Rather check the problem, fix it and move on

Somewhere.. I think its wierd that McLaren-Honda they ´see it´ now.. They already had a shakedown and a fire-up (engine testing) and now they see an issue with the Oil Systems.. Of course, that is what testing is all about. But they've ran 1 installation lap? Shame... I really wanted to see how the new Honda engine would preform.. now I need to wait again haha!

The only good thing about quicker laptimes is that boring races will finish earlier =P~ .
