Yeah I reckong Merc's Copse estimate might be a little ambitious, I think they will struggle to be flat.

Anyway, Mercedes claims Copse and Abbey will be easy flat chat. I hope the weather-gods make this a bone dry race because i want to see some stupid corner speeds this year.
Copse won't be flat, guaranteed.
We´ll see, both Hamilton and Ricciardo thinks it´s flat chat as well.

Hulkenberg said turn 9 will be flat in barcelona, but then wasn't even close to that.

The drivers may get bored driving and make mistakes as the track only has 11 corners with these new cars.
Doubt it with the amount of Gs they're gonna pull lol

Speaking of, has there been a driver's press conference? I don't see it posted anywhere.

In other news, it will be quite windy this weekend. Changing conditions are still on the table, but the rain won't be heavy. FP3 may be damp, and drying for qualifying.

You're not missing much, diatribe over jumped starts, shoeys and f1 live event attendance. Danny Ric was entertaining though.

Nobody took turn 9 flat this year? Curious because they do seem to go hand in hand, copse and T9.
I can´t remember a year where one was flat and the other one not.

I can not see how Copse is going to be flat out. That would have to mean no more than 290 kph before the turn, and these cars will be making probable 300 kph and maybe even 310 kph.

Perhaps they mean a lift prior to entry and then flat on the throttle through the corner.
