fine angled towards inner side of bargeboards. you can see it. Perfect photo =D>

It looks also that they've integrated steering rod into lower A wishbone

WOW! The sidepods are soooo slim. Where did they put the radiators? :wtf:

It's still there in the same spot it was on the RB13. Check the #3 on the chassis and you'll find the s-duct.

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Looks like that the air that goes over the regulated section of the FW is channeled into the sidepods.

Funny to see by the way that they didn't use the Mercedes/Toro-Rosso raised suspension of last year. Like they all choose a different concept on which plane the air is the least disturbed.

Do those "wings" above the sidepods create mid chassis downforce, or are they more about something else ?

The ones at the top of the sidepods angle downwards which should create lift. They are being used to direct flow around the sloping shoulder of the sidepods. The slight lift they produce will be more than offset by increases in downforce elsewhere or by a net reduction in overall lift.

They have a tip washout/flick that is trying to reduce vortex generation, interestingly, just as on an aircraft wing.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

I'm glad that they've made it more agressive compared to the launch-spec of the RB13, atleast, for the eye.

There were some issues with the correlation between track/wind tunnel with the early RB13, so they kept it very simple. Additionally, since the RB14 is an evolution of the RB13, it makes sense that it's more aggressively shaped with more winglets etc.

So they're all about getting cleaner air to go around and under the side pod right ?

Is there any benefit you can see as to the way air goes into the side pod ?
