Ferrari pulled the covers off from its 2019 contender. The prancing horse did so in its annual event at its homebase in Maranello in an event where symbolism was key.
A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter does not belong here.
They are carrying a decent amount of rear wing for Monza. I expected a skinnier one.
Ferrrari always runs with a decent amount of wing angle even on super high speed tracks (monza, spa), unlike red bull who go completely the opposite way.

That’s to be expected with a car that has a lot of power, low drag and relatively low downforce.

I think ferrari could easily solve most of theire issues with a slight adjustment to the front wing. They need to have the front wing first element go up like the mercedes and red bull instead of going up and then down and up again.

i find it odd when people say ferrari cannot change their front wing coz their concept will change! But what i see at mercedes and redbull is that they change the leading edge of the front wing from race to race...how could they manage but ferrari cannot?
This diffuser was tested in France but never raced. I guess we'll see it back this weekend maybe slightly tweaked.
So far the diffuser is still launch spec.

Hope it stays on. We are waiting for the updated floor also, since France or Austria?
Well first they have to bring this diffuser back..
I don't think we saw an updated floor this year. Just these vertical fins that first appeared in France I think. Often you see little diffuser tweaks being called 'new floor' for some reason.
