The car actually looks better than I expected, the only thing I'm a bit curious about is the sidepod shape. The "Wide shoulder and big undercut" concept seems to have been abandoned by everyone else.

This car has some stunning details, much better than anticipated, mirrors and front suspension look great.... I hope they can prove some doubters wrong this year!

The leading edge of the floor is different to most - it almost looks like a tunnel rather than the usual "long section of equal radius with devices below" that most use. Interesting.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Don't know for sure if it is mentioned before but the rear view mirror housing looks like an outwash generating device at first sight.

I'm pleased that the render was just a FW41 with 2019 rules tacked on.

Some clever ideas, specially around the front.
The car is still incomplete btw... https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/will ... g/4341179/

I do hope so, but I don't want to get too excited. Last year's car looked amazing as well.

Seems that some parts will arrive tonight, so they will start work on aero tomorrow.

Something strange about the diffuser! Where are the strakes?

so, essentially, they're running an incomplete kit car........

right.

i don't see all the 'happiness' around supposed details. the car isn't much different from last year and that was a total embarassment. bringing the car this late, unfinished, is another embarassment and it's the start of 2019.
expected quite a different machine, but it's more of the same with minor differences.
differences that i would have expected to be there midseason last year - apart from the 2019 changes.

their FW looks a lot like RP's 2019 front wing during testing last year, only the upper part looks like it's a fair bit higher.

mirrors look very flat at the front and if so, that would make them pretty unaerodynamic.

only the front suspension looks pretty different.

Sad that the gear box casing is still cast aluminum, bespoke carbon case not happening this season I guess

What is the silver piece on the foot of the diffuser for? For a moment I thought it was a hole.
