There's nothing listed that I can see, the commentators did say they thought the stewards would be lenient as they had been all weekend.

As if Pirelli could do anything about it anyway, I'm guessing the tires for the 4, 5, 6 ? races are already made, like they're going to scrap these and start again

yeah, sure, they should be fine in the way that he can go for a 1 stop, but overall it's still far from perfect.

I guess he will go for a start on new softs instead even, maybe with an aggressive two-stop strategy.

yes that's true but James also explained how the Week1 version had inwashing endplates, as we saw anyway, and was super slow and then they changed it. that's why it was late

Those endplates were not inwashing. Scarbs explained in one of his videos how it was a clever way of outwash.

Edit: I just noticed that you wrote it was James who told the endplates were inwashing. Would like to watch that. Do you have a link?

I can't see it now, perhaps i'll have a look after qualy, anyway he was saying what a disaster that Week1 concept was, losing 2.5s to start with, and whether Scarbs calls it outwashing after all it didn't work

Then there was a very different Week2 car wasn't there, that didn't start in 2017 it'll have started after the tyre test, with the new tyre construction as well, and Mercedes understanding what they needed
