Regarding Perez, he's a good driver, but a dirty one imo. There have just been too many incidents where he's tried (and frequently succeeded) to put other drivers into walls etc. It's one thing to make life difficult for other drivers, it's quite another to intentionally push other drivers into walls etc.
Every incident you bring up can be argued. Perez has never maliciously used his car as weapon in the vein of Schumacher and Vettel. The times when he crashed he is usually holding his ground and closing the door.
I am not even a fan and I never saw him as dirty. I think that is unwarranted. He simply held his ground against overly ambitious rivals.
That's why it's called an opinion, we don't know what was going thru his head, however, I've just seen him run others into the wall or chop them too many times - it's my opinion that it's a clear pattern of deliberate behavior that we haven't seen from anyone else.

Most of today's drivers are to some extent door-closers, choppers, and squeezers. Perez not coming to mind as an egregious offender....IMHO.

I have always thought it a bit strange...it is called "racing"...not "blocking". Of course such is part of the spectacle I suppose. This year's NASCAR champ Chase Elliot was asked what he was willing to do to as to blocking to win a race. He stated he did not want to block or chop or swerve...he just wanted to be faster and drive away. A quote to be admired...also my humble opinion.

I agree. The worst of all was Singapore 2018 move on Sirotkin. That was after putting his team mate Ocon to the wall, which Anthony Davidson showed on Sky Pad that there was clear intent when he straightened his steering to let his car go into Ocon. There was an argument that Force India should have dropped Perez for a race for those two incidents.

-Spa 2017
-Singapore 2018

And that's even against his own team mate. Completely agree with djos. This won't fly with Max, so things could get interesting.

Perez will be given a one year contract. Albon to sit as test and reserve for one year, staying in the family, til Perez or Gasly can find another seat. Albonwill not get winter testing days because of the shortened testing days.

Well my source is secret but here is a link as u asked.
Thanks - I was worried this was just reheated Kravitz. Secondary independent rumor adds some weight to it.

ofical,

PER to RB:

No it's not.
Right now it's more on the "it may be announced on 18th"-side of things.
Yes it's highly likely, but not yet official.

First and foremost he's correct and you're incorrect. Says so right there in the article you posted. "Everything points to PER getting confirmed" =/= official

So the ten f1 bosses have voted on their top 10 drivers of 2020. Each driver on their lists receives points for where they placed and it was put in to championship order.

Hamilton came out on top.
Bottas was in the top 10.

This is the F1 bosses, so can people who continuously go on about Bottas being the worst driver on the grid please stop now?

https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... eFNa3.html
Top 10 while being in a car that is not just fast, but fastest by a country mile. Doesn't prove your point at all, so don't try.

F1 bosses gave Bottas 27 points, while Hamilton got 171. I think you proved everyone else's point, not yours.
Its nothing to do with the car. its 2020 driver performance but as usual some people just can't see it or accept it. Its voted by team principles anonymously. Bottas came out as 9th best on the grid. But I guess the team bosses have no clue blah blah blah. Never mind. Bottas is clearly the worst on the grid and Mercedes hire the worst drivers for the fun of it. makes total sense.
God, you are deluded. Bottas is ninth best while driving the fastest car in F1 history. Latifi would easily be ninth best if he drove the fastest car in F1 history. Get that through your head.

As for if nobody has noticed, Perez has been officially signed. Albon out. (unconfirmed)

Sergio Perez at RedBull i'm guessing Hulkenberg is forever gone from F1(if) he doesn't make a comeback in 2022. After that all old driver's will just fade away.

Including Perez if he had a terrible year in 2021 with RedBull because youth isn't on his side.

I sincerely hope that in 2021 Perez will drive circles around Stroll and Vettel in their Aston Martins.

Yeah he probabaly would, coz the Redbull is a 2nd fastest car, whereas Aston Martins would be at the best 3rd or 4th

Good for Checo, great news
