Micro tube radiators

Hi,
I've just read in this year January issue of Racecar Engineering an article about the microtube radiators, and it seems they have a lot of advantages, but I've never seen them used on a F1 car. Is there any team that uses them?

I'm not versed the construction of the radiators, but I would hazard a guess that F1 teams have some of the most advanced radiators on the market. Does this mean they use microtubes? I don't know, but if not I can't imagine it will be long until they do.

Ferrari uses them as the heat exchanger on the engine side of the intercool system

These guys make micro-tube radiators and have a great website: https://mezzotech.com/performance-appli ... radiators/

They have info on an Indy Car application and some good pics of other designs, one of which would seem to be an F1 part (Below). Maybe. The bottom image, showing how open the radiators are, is pretty amazing. It's worth mouse-ing around and seeing everything.

Actually the article was talking about that producer and me too was amazed by how much open those radiator are.
I've never seen an image of a F1 radiator made with such a technology.

I think I posted this question 2 years ago...

Well, all radiators are heat exchangers; are all heat exchangers radiators? Seems like semantics to me.......

I thought this all felt familiar... Doing a search for "Microtube radiator" on the forums yielded results in 2014, 2018, and 2019.

I do not recall having seen any of the F1 radiators/coolers viewed dead-on in any of the pit photos. Ditto for MotoGP. Has anyone?

When I first heard about this style of heat exchanger I was excited for a friend with a Porsche Turbo, thinking this would be a more compact air-to-air intercooler. Nope. Air to water, yes...
