He did 2 best sectors overall, but it seems like they weren't in the Q3 lap

Purple in sector one and purple in sector two. :-(

When was max purple in S1 and S2? I watched Q3 again and didn't saw any purple sectors for max?
I was thinking the same, I didn't see purple sectors.

They were both in Q2.

Q2?🤣🤣🤣 I thought that final starting places are sorted out in Q3 and not in Q2 😁. Those purple sectors in q2 were quite meaningless in q3…

Just another Red Bull PR exercise. They need to maintain the narrative that Verstappen was robbed of pole yet again.

Toto yesterday after the qualification:

According to the team boss, no decision has yet been made about a possible protest against Red Bull. "Everyone is getting a little tired of that flexi-wing saga I think and that includes myself," he explains. "Let's wait and see what happens. I don't know exactly what Red Bull had on their cars today and what they will do tomorrow. Then we will only make a decision [after the race, ed.] about a possible protest."

Shortly "if we are at front no protest if not we will protest"

Big big big mistake from redbull. No need to push risky fast lap at the end with all those laps in tires. They lost big picture

Those Pirelli was a joke.It should be a easy 1-2 finish today. And MAX could easily got 11 points more than Hamilton today.
Even hamilton also got 0 points today, still 11 points lose in WDC for MAX.

this is completly nonsense
this had nothing to do with fast lap, the tyre should have hold ....

but as i saw the replay , i saw a piece of debris flying up, if its from Verstappen or he went over it i dont know

What race were you watching? Max already had fastest lap, he wasn’t going for another one.

Commentators' noted Stroll's tyre showed no cuts, I don't think Verstappen's did either. Seems like the tyres failed at the sidewall.

Good to see Perez comfortable with the Red Bull car and pressing on nicely. =D> Bodes well if Perez can also have the Red Bull hooked up at aero track with long corners (I guess any tricky aerodynamic balance shifts during cornering will be more relevant at tracks with long medium speed corners, whereas this is minimised at short low speed corners).
