This one between Max and Lewis with delta on corners.

RBR uses less df but faster at turns. It is interesting. The video below RBR seems to have a bit understeer. I wonder if this is the case at race and cause shorter tyre life compared to Merc.

Anyone that thinks the Mercedes is still the quickest car / best PU only has to look at that trace. The RB is faster in the corners and faster on the straights.

Slightly more rear downforce for the Mercedes, creates more drag overall. The Red Bull is more oversteery but Max just gets behind the wheel and tames the oversteer devil. That's why the Red Bull burns up its rear tires faster than the Mercedes that has a more understeer balance.

In fact the Merc has so much drag that it's amazing it can go as fast as it does.

I'd say it's incredibly close, but like Verstappen says, put us in equal cars and I'll put two tenths on Hamilton.

He might say that but he'll never find out, will he?

Gonna have to switch to a two stop, one stop won't make it.

Two stop FTW!!!!!!! Incredible race! Strategy won us the race, fantastic well measured drive from the RB boys. Earned that podium! Beautiful tire preservation from Perez.

Whether Perez keeps 3rd or not, still a great race for him - good to see a 2 vs 2 fight at the front.

The one stop might have worked if they were driving Miss Daisy, but at the pace they were running, there was no chance a one stop would have worked.

At least for Max, the hards wouldn't have worked until the end. Before the stop he was with graining on the left

Incredible, what a race, what a drive by both but especially Max. Took the whole Merc team. Fantastic effort, really. Checo also did what he could, almost got there in the end but secured a podium.

But, if it remains this close with Merc a slight edge it will be so, so difficult. But, this win here, just fantastic, who would have thought.

Big big balls victory, thank you RBR.
