Good interview. Thanks, that's what I call access! No comments on customer-cars, in a beautiful way. Intriguing the part about his father...

We're starting to get used to "big" interviews! When do you plan to do your interview with Bernie? 2009 or earlier? Manchild is preparing a questionnaire, I've heard. :)

Why is Nelson Piquet jr. called Nelsinho? Is it a nickname or a typo?

normally inho refers to someone junior, like Ronaldinho is the smaller Ronaldo, or something like that. Maybe Ciro could help you better.

Yes, is as zenvision says. Om.

It means "Little Nelson". It sounds Nel-si-ño. It's an homage to Admiral Horatio Nelson. You could say that "Renault expects that every man will do his duty"... ;)

The "nh" (or "ñ" in spanish) sounds... well, I can't explain how it sounds.

In case you need to call him from the stands ("hey, Nelsinho! I'm here for your interview! Look over here!") you can practice your "nh" or "ñ" sound here (the example says "Bretanha" or "Britain"): http://fonetiks.org/sou6po.html

BTW: does any brazilian knows why it is said everywhere that Nelson Piquet took her mother maiden name to hide his career from his father? I believe that many brazilians use, as middle name, the maiden name of his mother (some of them, at least). So, this should be the most funny way to disguise your name. Any explanation is welcome.

Nelsinho's grandpa last name, as everybody knows, is Soutomaior (Large Grove).

So, should Nelsinho Piquet be called Nelsinho Angelo Soutomaior? After all, somebody must have told grandad, there is no reason for keeping the "cover up"... ;)

And, is he german? He was born in Heidelberg. Why didn't F1Technical asked if he considers himself Schumacher successor in Germany? Imagine that... ;)
