What a wonderful sight, packed grandstands!
Yes cozy, without mouth caps and without access testing, vaccinated / negative test.
That is incorrect. To gain access you need proof of negative test (lateral flow) OR proof of double vaccination

(I was at goodwood festival of speed the weekend earlier, the same rules applied).
I was at Goodwood on the Friday, I cant say they were very particular at the gate I went in, all I did was hold my phone up with the covid pass, they didn't ask for ID or scan the QR code, pretty lax to be honest.

Yeah, all fans have been either tested or proof of both jabs.
But there's several events now that show that might not be enough to avoid potential for quite a few people still being infected, so I'm glad Hamilton asked people to keep a bit of care up.

"7 tenths? Where did that come from?" asks Hamilton when Bobo tells him he's P3 after his quali run.

Either there's some serious sandbagging going on, or that Red Bull in Max's hands is blowing everyone away.

Excellent job from Lando so far. P2 on mediums.

Yeah , hopefully when they get back to the garage, Bono goes over to Lewis and says, you cheeky git, how about that 25 laps of fuel your carrying

Ferraris just split the Mercs.

It’s like the W12 gets worse race-by-race.

That's what happens when one gets outdeveloped (if it holds through the weekend) I'd think.

Mercedes struggling makes me afraid about 2022... looks like they stopped developing this car long ago, much sooner than any other.

Some dominating team kept dominating after a huge rule change in F1 previously?

They have have either messed up big time, or yes... started to develop for 2022 WAY before anybody else.

Their track record would suggest its the latter. Throwing away 1 season in exchange for winning X amount after is a fair enough swap and one I'd personally take if it was my business/team.

That had to be an engine mode/fuel situation for Merc. No other explanation. Still may not be enough, but the gaps can’t be that massive.
