Literally most of 2 hours worth of posts are gone. Pooof. About 2 full pages.

If you came to this thread after the race to troll, you either got a warning or banned. And the whole conversation past that point, gone, I hope you enjoyed its short trolling life.
And if you responded to the trolls... what were you expecting to happen? Reason? Logic? Sham... you get the drift. All the responses also magically poofed away.

Keep it clean, folks. Never make it personal (and for god's sake don't respond to personal stuff and trolling with more personal stuff!).

Now, if anyone wants to talk about the race, or the team, or the team's drivers, or the pace, or Toto, or Manaco... Game on!

True. I heard the message of George needing to cool the car, even if he was in clear air ahead.

It still does seem a bit odd that both the cars had the same fault on lap 50-odd. I can’t see Russell nursing a water leak for that many laps.

If the problems were related of course

Why not? Norris had to replace chassis and floor just for going over a kerb in free practice. Braking the diffuser when you spin in gravel seems entirely possible.
Explain how gravel, which is just basically sand can damage body work on the car. Are you seriously comparing that to hitting a solid curb that can shatter any body work within a blink of an eye?

Depends how the car goes in, could possibly have bits of bodywork digging in and the weight of the vehicle behind it.

Gravel moves around, when the car lands on gravel from the spin, car moves sideways, gravel accumulates between wheel and side of diffuser, at that point the car keeps going down bending and eventually braking the diffuser.

You can simulate the same, take your hand open and push gravel over, it will accumulate and eventually impede your movement. But I’m sure you know this already and are just giving sainz a hard time for the sake of it.

Could easily break a floor strake going into the gravel. Run and slide face first into some gravel, see how you get on.

No actually I’ll take your word for it. Good try and bait though. I read an article with both binotto and sainz saying he lost downforce so I guess it’s true. But prior to the spin he wasn’t exactly fast either.

All teams do that, it's constant revision, apart from RB/Honda, who obviously went risky to start with and look what it landed them on the engine side.

Good to see Mercedes doing a bit better. I'll take some more boring Mercedes domination over a Ferrari/Red Bull engine fail championship battle any day.

For Lewis I think it was a legit cooling issue from a leak. Post race Toto said it was bad enough that they are not sure if the engine will be safe to re-use after this. Hopefully the engine checks out OK when they get it back to the factory.

The gravel stones are quite big.
