Perez (again!) quite some off the pace of Verstappen's. The balance looked quite okay though. I wonder how much can be improved overnight as they have tested here already quite a lot recently. At least VER is in the mix, although we'll have to wait until Q3 before some more accurate pace predictions can be made.

Yeah, we've seen Perez next to Verstappen for almost 25 races now with the same results. I don't expect it to change much.

This is great news, and with the floor upgrades that are coming soon, it's looking pretty good for RBR. Newey is a genius, like a bottomless pit of innovation! Even if others find out how RBR got on top of the porpoising, they'll have to implement the changes, meanwhile RBR will already be refining their setup and working on the next upgrade.

Could have been different fuel load in them or anything to offset the difference.

Max is on fire in that new RB18. Its clearly evident the guys in the aero department who have experience in ground effect.

They were 1 second apart after the first run, then Perez had two more goes at it to get to 0.3

I am cringing a lil bit everytime they are saying its a RB engine. RB powertrain has nothing to do with these PUs other than paying for em.

On the bright side, looks like Honda did a really good job!

But they are outperformed by Ferrari, you can look at AlphaTauri's performance. I wish I'm wrong.
