A race ban was on the card; a 10-sec penalty is too light for that offense.
great race by Vettel today, but unfortunately not rewarded at all. No idea who's decision it was to keep no more softs for the race, but it was the completely wrong one.
So I’m guessing Alonso has been to the factory already for a seat fitting ahead of the test next Tuesday? No way they could do it in that short time after the race.
Watching this race, I remembered what I didn't like about Vettel... He's on a one stop strategy, nobody but AMR knows, but he makes 4 attempts at passing Ocon and is literally right up his @as till Ocon pits. He then attempts to fight Perez and Sainz, both had fresh tires. At which point he settles into 1:33s on dead tires for the rest of the stint. That drops him way down.
Maybe it was cause it was his last race? But then why is he asking what went wrong with strategy?

They are usually able to do the seat fitting at the circuit. They would have prepared to do that since it's more efficient than traveling back and forth.

So this was yesterdays seat fit.. wonder what his helmet will look like.. 3 hours to find out
