Ferrari F1-75

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Revised sidepod undercut, engine cover, mirrors (seen already) & rear cooling outlets

Rear cooling outlet change is reportedly for better efficiency and optimized engine cooling

Honestly, I expected more.
Measures against the porpoising, new underbody, something like that.

Okay, let´s see...

I suspect the upgrade plans are compromised by 1) the multitude of crashes and incidents Sainz had at the start of the year and
2) the fact that they had to spend money redesigning and producing their rear wing specs to fix the DRS problem.

Don't think that is realistic as a reason for lack of upgrades.

Seconding Xyz22 there. Surely not how you described it.
The crashes cost some money, but not as much as people seem to think. Teams already before the season starts define a certain budget for crashes alone and Ferrari have not had that many expensive crashes. Even a total write off would cost “only” around a million. If any, it would be towards the end of the season a team would start making changes to their upgrade program.

As for the rear wings, you can be sure of Ferrari having planned them way before. All teams have brought different rear wing specs, obviously.

Sidepod seems more rounded(and perhaps a little tighter) allowing better airflow on the floor.

Not really seeing it at all. Some comparison pictures from back in testing:

If there are any changes, they're either incredibly subtle or just in areas we still cant quite see properly yet.
