Push-rod all round then

It's a pull rod when you see it from another angle.

What you see there is the shrouded drive-shaft. The lower control arm is actually a "reversed" triangle.
The pull rod is the one coming towards you and going down.

Looks wise, I think its lived up to the hype.

Nose, sidepods, rear, all pushed to the extreme vs the others thus far.

Hope its as fast as it looks.
Not quite sure what you see; the sidepods are ginormous.
They are ginourmous intentionally, if they removed the concave factor(which i'm pretty sure isn't necessary for cooling) you would see a pretty "extreme" dropping pod, the bit of bodywork that make it look "ginormous" is there because they think there's advantage to be had shaping it that way.

What about drag resistance? This car is pretty wide

The car looks great, better than I could have imagined. It looks like a predator. I hope it is a predator under the skin too and that its instincts are predatory. In the end, the results are what counts,

Looks like the "double T tray" effect that AM have.

Kudos to Ferrari for releasing decent images of a car that has seemingly had significant development work on already. I'm sure they've not shown their whole hand either.

First look at a more realistic/race spec rear wing so far too I think?

You can't only see width, you need to consider total frontal area and airflow. I think Ferrari is doing something clever there, but i will wait for further analysis.

The rear of the sidepods looks like the McLaren MP4-26 sidepods, just with a conventional intake rather than the L shape.

Yes they look similar, but while I am no expect I think they are totally different functionally. The McLaren I think was focusing on getting air down to the exhaust blown diffuser and beam wing area. It also did not deal with any radiator exhaust.

This Ferrari though seems to be curling up the hot-air from the radiators towards to the center-line of the car to minimize the impact of slow, hot exhaust air as much as possible.
I still think the purpose of these channels is to drive air towards the beam wing(s)

I'm pretty sure it is, they're dropping the pressure there by sheilding it with the raised outer sidepod area, to draw cooling air out of the gills better, then using that shoulder to roll it and keep it attached tightly to the centreline of the car to dump it below the rear wing

So very little undercut which was difficult to see on the leaked image. But also, the top of the sidepods is not flat, as some people were saying, but rather sculpted to a "U" shape like I expected.

Unique concept all around. Seems like they are trying to take a little from all the other concepts we have seen so far and merge it into one.

What's going on under the "San" of Santander on the nose in this profile shot? There are a couple of downward sloping (downward from front to back) curved lines or slots.

I'm looking forward to see Kyle Engineering on YouTube analysis on it. But really, only a wind tunnel will say what is truly happening.
