Compared to the AMR and Haas this one look anorexic. The nose is slim, the sidepods taper at the back, but are very narrow to begin with, and are not pushed forward towards the edge of the legality box at all. So they're not trying make sidepods do what bargeboards used to, unlike the other two.

We've already seen 3 rather distinct concepts! Let's hope they all work so there's no convergent development.

I think the secrets will be in the details we can't see i.e. the strakes, the tea tray area, the floor edge flaps etc.

Theyre using the gap between the shroud and the tyres for the brake ducts are they not? Quite evident on the rear at least

Pretty slim from the top… Sidepods are slimmer than Haas, but managing a similar amount of free floor space in the back:

So folks here don't think the strakes have merely been omitted and not glued onto the launch car to hide them, but that there is actually something to it? :?:

The tunnels are much narrower, that part of the floor is pretty much a flap on the MCL.

Small things stand out more when the car is simple and doesn’t feature 194739274820274 aero bits crammed on a portion of it.

The comparison from this angle is RIDICULOUS! the difference in design philosophy is so dramatic, I'd be shocked if they can converge through the season

Look at the gap between the rear face of the top front wing planes to the front face of the front tyres. The gap between the Aston Martin wing and its front tyres is bigger than that of the McLaren. Maybe the nose is shorter? or.. the front wing is bigger in depth?
