4 DRS zones? A tad late in the topic, but are you kidding me?
Haha, yes. A tad bit much if you ask me. Ferrari even tried at a bit of humor about it on their twitter account

According to Tom Coronel they managed to lose 7KG on the RB18 for this weekend. Any idea how to how much laptime that would translate?
I thought Dr. HM said that they were expecting to lose those kilos at Imola. Is Mr. Tom Coronel reliable?

I don't know. I saw it on Reddit.

.
Here you can read the original article. Tom Coronel is in this case reliable, I think.
Normally he is also very enthousiastic, but his brother Tim is less reliable.

If you're interested in sampling the new layout, here's a version for Assetto Corsa

The entire back "straight" section now seems very Jeddah-like.

That's what I said. It's a much faster track now, I'm guessing the track is about the same lap times as Barcelona.

5 seconds faster, so it should be in the 1:15s

4kg is about 0.1 isnt it iirc
I seem to remember .3 per 10kg.

It's the nature of the quoting system on the forum. Images are usually turned in to link, videos remain as videos. Something for Steven to sort, I think.

Similar ballpark, 0.25/0.3 per 10kg

When are the ‘powers that be’ going to realise that cars going in a straight line sitting at top speed for 10 seconds a lap with the revs just stagnating at 10 500 is not actually entertaining? Clearly they are yet to get it because Vegas has a 2km long straight… why?

I understand the intention in Australia and hopefully it lends itself to some better overtaking into the final complex but other than that… I don’t see it making much of a difference? Other than ok, meaning the cars can drag each other along the ludicrously long straight. Sigh. I’m officially old.

Hmm. I rather watch high speed than low speed processions. At least you can get some overtakes with a tyre differential.
