I dont think anyone was going into T17 side by side so it's a completely pointless change. If anything they should add another DRS zone from T15 to T17.
I think the same. I do not remember an overtake into T17 and the detection point was moved before T17 last year, because cars lost too much at T17 when following. The new location goes into the opposite direction...

I am surprised that no-one mentioned that we will find out (finally!) what will happen with the rain water on top of those Ferrari sidepods!

Anyone know who were the fastest cars through sector 1 in Jeddah? I know Ferrari were fastest but then who?

Don't see the competitive order changing much this round unless weather tomorrow throws some curveballs.

Curious to see if Haas regains the form we saw in the Middle East.

If anyone cares about the rain situation, looks like most of it will be over by ~1100 local time tomorrow. Rain during qualifying will likely be light, and may even stop altogether leaving us with a drying track. Today is supposed to be the worst of the rain.

So a good out of the box setup will be critical.

The scheduling is quite odd. 5pm local time for the start of qualy, that's really crazy. Who makes these decisions?

People that want all of USA to watch it, it's 8am west coast for start time, looking forward to be able to watch it at human time.

Quali could be wet as well, I think, even with no rain on the forecast that late in the day?! It has been raining since yesterday evening now, and at sth like 10°C it's not going to get dry quickly.

Here in central Europe were I have been following and watching F1 for longer than I can remember I have always managed the odd hours to watch/follow I had to put-up with, simply because I had no chose other than not to watch/follow.

True it’s quite cold still and there’s lots of trees surrounding the track. Local weather stations are still reporting rain. Still, no running till 12:30 BST.
