lol, Isola says the hard tyre "works better than expected", but still doesn't expect anyone to use it in the race. Why not go a step softer then...

Tsunoda beached his car right as the race sims were going on, bringing out the red flag. Not sure how much useful data will come out of those runs, unfortunately.

Russel on the Mediums was the fastest, followed by Sainz on Mediums who was 3 tenths slower and on average as fast as Max on Softs.

I don't know what you see but VER was straight away fastest on the first race pace run. Even after the red flag...

max himself said they had no balance and the pace of the car not yet there, due to missing FP1. They will have work to do overnight but I expect RB to be back up there tomorrow

What they say and what they actually do and feel behind doors might be two different things. I dint see him looking too worried. He had that little smug on his face., it says all.

He did look a bit smug for a team supposed to be struggling. Let's see what happens tomorrow

Helmut Marko always straight out says the things as they are or how he thinks they are. He said that they struggled due to setup and need to work on that. If they manage to solve the problems, they hope to have a 3 way fight at the end.

That's the face that a massive title lead gives you. A bad weekend now and then doesn't matter so much and so there is much less stress.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Surely the RB’s can’t be 1.3-1.4 seconds off the pace. Never seen that all season

Did Max get a new gearbox for FP2?
If so will he have a grid penalty?
