The waterslide on the Williams looks substandard to AM, but undercut on AM looks substandard to the Williams. You can't get everything. One could say, AM sidepods are essentialy original FW44 sidepods with flow separation barier at the side.

And I bet this "flow separation barrier" is what the FW44 hole was meant to do.

The AM and Williams sidepods really are quite different if you compare them directly. Here's a quick animation I put together:

they meant the launch 2022 pods. Put a giant tyre wake blocking element on the sidepod of launch williams 2022 and you kind of have the amr (sidepod at least) therefore the packaging by Williams can at least be as good

I was just trying to illustrate how different their 2023 sidepod concepts actually are, adding to what tomazy said.

That might explain some of the seesawing on the wheel I noticed in the morning session, during mid corner rotation, that we saw during the onboards with Albon?

How come the Williams doesn't have many vents in the side compared to the likes of Ferrari? Looks very sleek with not many vents.

What are the negatives of having to depend on a cranked up front wing for balance?
