In The Race's video, they say Perez could still be fired if he performs badly in the next few outings. Does anyone believe that ? I don't. They will stick with him till the end, no matter how it goes.

When Perez was hired, the first thing Christian Horner said is that they don't need Perez's money. And this was before Oracle wrote their blank check. So I don't think it has really anything to do with money. It has to do with indecisiveness. They are just too afraid of change.
redbull are investing big on there engine program they need the money

Imagine the amazing feeling it would bring to the team and for the fans if Max wins the next 4 races after the summer break. Out of nowhere as Seb did in 2012 and 2013. :)

Highly unlikely I know, but I will never stop believing.
Seb didn’t win them “out of nowhere” in 2013! The tires were changed after the blowouts at Silverstone and went back to the 2012 spec! Which probably suited Red Bull the most…

And it’s not “highly unlikely”! Red Bull and Max didn’t suddenly forget how to race! There were certain circumstances that led to them losing some races…

Agree. The gravel trip error in Q Silverstone and taking penalty for engine at Spa could likely have been tight but MV wins both.

For team also SP gravel event in Silverstone Q was likely a big loss for WCC position overall too.

These were not pace per sa, but operating comprises in each of them, against much tighter opposition generally.

Then what’s Binotto’s purpose there?

Wow. That is a big loss for Red Bull. They've lost a lot of senior personnel in the last months. Might be time for Verstappen to answer the phone when Toto calls next time.

shocking news, he deserved Horner's job after the scandal, but Horner won the power struggle, and now the team is imploding....Jos was right after all

Max run away as long as you're in time !

I fear Max has lost his chance with Mercedes, it is reported that Kimi will be announced as George's team mate for 2025 in Monza

Audi has another seat still open. Max and Jos can put forward any condition and Audi would agree. Max would have all the freedom to do whatever he wants, like run his own strategy from his car and take that team to championships. I don't see a point of Max continuing with Red Bull while Jos and Max's fans continuing to be angry with Red Bull. Red Bull anyway is doomed with the departure of it's staff. Max to Audi is a good solution. Max to Mercedes is a pain as George is way too formidable and would make life difficult for Max. It's a nightmare for gis fans. See what's happening with Lewis and his fans.

Imagine losing Newey and Wheatly but keeping Perez.

This team is taking some really baffling decisions lately.

I don't understand the panic here.

Red Bull GP is a mid field outfit and has smashed it out the park this season :)

Of course personnel will come and go as they want to go to top teams to prove themselves 8)

Perez will do enough to get 2nd in the constructors which would be a good achievement and a job well done for Red Bull GP 8)

He is the COO and CTO, actually. This confused me too; not sure why it was reported everywhere that he'd be the Team Principal, his job titles are clearly stated in the announcement.
