Looks like Alo's lap could have been even better but good to see he still has the motivation to find the last tenth.

On a break today . I was hoping a bit more P5 i think was there. Alonso lost a lot in final sector, overall he was up on russell in end of sector 2.

It seems till the car is tricky to drive. watched on board camera. lots of steering adjustment in FP3. Hope the race phase is good. The first corner is very important as Hamilton is besides him. Let see tomorrow...

And that’s why there is not so much hope for a good race. Car is still way too peaky.

Imo these discussions about the drivers are nonsense, whether it be Alonso or Stroll it doesn't matter. This qualifying proved both are doing a good job with the tools they have. The real limitation as always continues to be the car.
