What a race wow, I thought Albon was a lost fight at some point. Amazing qualy & race for Fernando, nearly perfect weekend and probably the best this year, up there with Jeddah and Suzuka.

You can't really go by those numbers. Alonso wasgoing flat out trying to stay ahead of Albon....many other cars had given up.FNTC wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 11:22 pmhttps://preview.redd.it/tyre-deg-in-bak ... 066b1af3d6

What no comment? 1s slower/lap than Russell front of him and we should be happy about the tyre degradation? Go 1 1sec faster and lets see that tyre degradation.FNTC wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 11:22 pmhttps://preview.redd.it/tyre-deg-in-bak ... 066b1af3d6

Of course not, but early in the season, they were 1 second slow and probably destroy tires tooOnEcRiTiCaL wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 7:42 amWhat no comment? 1s slower/lap than Russell front of him and we should be happy about the tyre degradation? Also on the other end... after the early issues, Stroll was the only one to do a two-stopper. So there was no need at all to save the tires - in contrary. He had to go full out to have any chance of making it work.diffuser wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 1:08 amYou can't really go by those numbers. Earlier in the season, Bahrain, Japan or Saudi Arabia, they were quicker in relation to the top4.Rikrikrik wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 12:23 pmOf course not, but early in the season, they were 1 second slow and probably destroy tires tooOnEcRiTiCaL wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 7:42 amWhat no comment? 1s slower/lap than Russell front of him and we should be happy about the tyre degradation? You was right, it is like a mini DRS as the instagram post is saying.
It is like red bull 2021 flex wing and the FIA at the time banned it so they should do the same
This is why Leclerc with DRS couldn’t pass Piastri
